This study explores the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in mathematics education across three schools in Tanjung Morawa District. Adopting a qualitative approach with a comparative case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The gathered data were then descriptively analyzed based on TQM principles integrated with the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle. The findings reveal variations in the level of TQM implementation among the schools. SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa demonstrated the highest level of implementation, characterized by the consistent integration of TQM and PDCA, alongside a student engagement rate of approximately 75%. SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa falls into the moderate category, as TQM implementation has not been fully comprehensive, particularly in the evaluation and follow-up stages, resulting in around 60% student engagement. Meanwhile, SMPS Nur Azizi remains in the initial stages of implementation, marked by a weak evaluation culture and minimal data utilization in the learning process. The study concludes that the successful implementation of TQM depends heavily on principal leadership, the effectiveness of internal quality assurance systems, and a culture of data-driven decision-making, all of which directly influence the improvement of instructional quality and student engagement.
