SOSIALISASI DAN PELATIHAN BAGI ANAK – ANAK DI PANTI ASUHAN CIPTA WARIS PAPUA TEMA : PENGARUH TEKNOLOGI TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MORAL ANAK DAN BULLYING

Abstract

Children's character development is a crucial aspect in shaping a quality future generation. The development of information technology in the digital era brings significant changes to children's lives, serving as both a learning tool and a challenge to their moral development. In addition, the phenomenon of bullying remains a real threat that affects children's emotional well-being and social relationships. This community service activity aims to provide education on the wise use of technology and to raise children's awareness to avoid bullying behavior in their daily lives. The partner for this activity is the children at the Cipta Waris Papua Orphanage, Sorong City. The implementation method was carried out through three main stages: preparation, socialization implementation, and evaluation. The educational approach used was interactive, combining material presentation, group discussions, ice-breaking, educational games, short video screenings, and Q&A sessions. The results showed an increase in the participation and understanding of the orphanage children. Participants who were initially awkward became more confident in interacting, capable of identifying the negative impacts of technology, understanding the forms of bullying, and knowing how to prevent it. This activity successfully instilled character values such as cooperation, empathy, and mutual respect among one another.
