AI Policy

Nusantara Hasana Journal (NHJ) acknowledges the significant role and rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and its supporting technologies within the research and scholarly publishing ecosystem. The use of Generative AI is permitted to a limited extent—specifically to enhance language readability and technical writing efficiency—provided that the author's originality, critical reasoning, and intellectual integrity remain paramount.

Authors are required to provide a transparent and honest disclosure statement regarding any AI involvement in the manuscript preparation process. It must be emphasized that AI tools do not meet the criteria for authorship; therefore, full responsibility for the accuracy, validity, and novelty of the article's content rests solely with the human authors. Nusantara Hasana Journal (NHJ) remains committed to upholding standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and scientific accountability, as well as protecting data confidentiality and the intellectual property rights of all parties involved.

This policy is being implemented in stages starting in 2026. The requirement to disclose AI usage applies to all articles submitted from June 2026 onwards.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy

Nusantara Hasana Journal (NHJ) recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-based technologies have become integral to the research and scholarly publishing process. This policy aims to ensure that the use of Generative AI is conducted responsibly and transparently while maintaining academic integrity, in accordance with principles developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics. 1. General Principles

The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) in writing, analysis, or data processing is permitted provided that it:

The use of Generative AI to create or modify images, tables, or illustrations is prohibited, with the exception of minor technical adjustments (e.g., brightness or contrast) that do not alter the meaning of the information. If Generative AI is part of the research methodology, its use must be explained transparently and replicably within the methodology section.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Authors, reviewers, and editors are prohibited from inputting:

unpublished manuscripts,
