HUBUNGAN PENGGUNA APLIKASI TIKTOK DENGAN TINGKAT DEPRESI REMAJA DI ERA PANDEMI DI MTS NURUL FALAH KUTABUMI

TikTok is a social media platform that is developing very rapidly in the world. TikTok allows use to produce short videos accompanied by music, Filters, and various creative features Almost 5 years TikTok is facing an explosion in popularity in the world, More than 350 million people in the world are facing depression so that the World Health Organization sets depression as one of the priorities for handled, so that tiktok followers can affect the level of depression during this pandemic. The purpose of this study is to identify the ties of Tiktok application users to the level of mental stress of young people during the pandemic in students of MTs Nurul Falah Kutabumi in 2021. Research design is cross sectional measuring variables at the same time. Sampling in this study using probability sampling the number of respondents 153 people with the relationship between users of the tiktok application and the level of depression Data Analysis: The data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the relationship between the use of the tiktok application and the level of depression in adolescents in the pandemic era in VIII grade students at Mts Nurul Falah Kutabumi are 0.018 (0.05) so the cellphone is accepted which means there is no relationship between the use of the tiktok application and the level of depression in adolescents in the pandemic era for class VIII students at Mts Nurul Falah Kutabumi. Tiktok users with depression levels are interconnected during a pandemic like this, because nowadays everyone is required to do all kinds of activities online and not being able to meet his colleagues, makes someone depressed with habits like this and makes depression levels increase during this pandemic.
