Abstract

Analysis of Factors Affecting Demand for Red Chili in Batang Hari Regency. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the demand for red chili in Batang Hari Regency. This research has been carried out in Batang Hari Regency. The research was conducted from May 1 to July 1, 2020. This location was chosen purposively, with the consideration that Batanghari Regency is the producer of red chilies. The data used in this study is secondary data. This study uses data collected including secondary data, namely production data from related agencies or other sources in the form of data sources taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Batang Hari Regency, Food Crops Agriculture Office of Batang Hari Regency during the period 2014 – 2019. From the results of research requests red chili in Batang Hari Regency is affected by the price of Rp. 26,714, the total population is 16.60% and the income per capita is 4.77%.
