PENERAPAN REPLIKASI BASIS DATA TERDISTRIBUSI MENGGUNAKAN METODE SYNCHRONOUS PADA HOTEL FAVEHOTEL MAKASSAR
Keywords:

Processing data, information and company resources using information technology can help to minimize company expenses for operational costs. The problem that occurs now is the high network traffic that accesses the central computer, causing slow transaction processing. Today's business environment requires distributed databases and client/server applications in order to increase the reliability, scalability and accessibility of information Stably. Replication is a technique of duplicating data in several different physical locations for the same logical data with the aim that if there are problems related to failure in one physical location, it will not affect the performance of the entire system. Based on the results of the study, information was obtained that the data replication process using the synchronous method was ideally applied to favehotel hotels, where the automatic record transfer process could work optimally, thus ensuring the quality of technology-based services at favehotel Makassar. using the synchronous method, the problem of high network traffic that causes slow transaction processing at favehotel hotels can be resolved so that the data access process is faster.
