ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PENERAPAN KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN COLD STORAGE

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a critical aspect of construction projects because the nature of construction work involves a relatively high risk of accidents. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the implementation of OSH in the construction project of PT Tatamulia Nusantara Indah’s cold storage facility in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires, field observations, and project documents. The variables analyzed included OSH knowledge and training (X1), compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (X2), working environment conditions and OSH facilities (X3), as well as management supervision and commitment. The study population consisted of 150 workers, while the sample analyzed comprised 61 respondents. The research instrument used a 1–5 Likert scale and was analyzed using SPSS through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that all 20 questionnaire items were valid, with correlation values ranging from 0.711 to 0.866, and the instrument demonstrated very high reliability, with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.967. The regression results show that knowledge has no significant effect (Sig. 0.276), compliance with PPE use has no significant effect (Sig. 0.233), while work environment conditions and facilities have a significant effect (Sig. 0.000). Collectively, the regression model is significant with an F-value of 55.997 and Sig. 0.000. The R² value of 0.746 indicates that 74.6% of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables in the model. The results of the study indicate that improving work environment conditions, OSH facilities, as well as management oversight and commitment are important aspects in enhancing the effectiveness of OSH implementation in construction projects.
