Abstract

Farmer groups are a medium for the government to foster communities in agriculture and become a medium in solving problems faced by farmers that cannot be overcome individually, so as to produce satisfactory yields. This study aims to create transparency in farmer group counselling as the distribution of government assistance is right on target and create an application for selecting Exemplary Farmer groups in Takalar district, assisting the government in determining model farmer groups accurately and efficiently. The Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method is the method used in this study in ranking and weighting the criteria values ​​to determine the farmer groups that will be recommended. The results of this study are the results of the highest ranking of farmer groups obtained from the calculation of the ARAS method. So that the ranking results can provide the best farmer group information.
