VALUASI EKONOMI DEPLESI DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KOTA HIJAU DI JAKARTA

Environmental experts argue that one of the causes of natural disasters is drought which manifests itself in the form of a water crisis. One indicator of the values of the chemical (salinity), physics (brightness) and biological (phytoplankton & macrozoobenthos) variables of the waters, shows that the environmental conditions of the Jakarta Bay waters are unstable and polluted. This study aims to calculate the valuation of clean water depletion as a result of water pollution, so it is expected to be a concern for realizing a Green City in Jakarta. The result of the Jakarta City Depletion Economic Valuation is calculated from the unit rent multiplied by the number of cubications. The largest depletion value was in the East Jakarta area of Rp. 643,138 (in million) up to Rp. 864,927 (in million) while the smallest is in the Thousand Islands region of Rp. 9,032 (in million) up to Rp. 12,147 (in million). This valuation is a loss resulting from water pollution so that people have to buy clean water.
