Abstract

COVID-19, which has become a world health crisis, is one of the causes of anxiety in students. With the increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19, the government has taken a policy to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus by doing physical distancing, social distancing, and establishing distribution zones that are grouped based on the number of people infected with COVID-19. This policy resulted in decisions regarding distance learning and working from home. Objective: To determine the level of anxiety in dealing with COVID-19 among FK Unbrah students of year 2019. Methods:This is a  descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were students of the 2019 FK Unbrah with 86 samples. Results: 46 people (53.5%), 67 were females (77.9%). The level of anxiety is very severe in 27 samples (31.4%). Students who do not experience anxiety and with moderate anxiety are in adulthood and the level of severe and very severe anxiety is in their teens. Female were found to have all level from no anxiety to very severe anxiety. Students who didn't experience anxiety agree with distance learning. Students who do not experience anxiety, mild, moderate and very severe are in the green zone while severe anxiety is in the yellow zone. Conclusion: the highest level of anxiety is experienced by teenage girls, students agree with online lectures and students are mostly in the green zone.
